Fructose and our Health

 

This day in age it is obvious that the health our society is on a quick decline.  Just look around ... cars are lined up to go through the drive through at the local fast food restaurant; folks are sipping on cola and drinks loaded with sugar; people are eating processed foods loaded with high fructose corn syrup.  It is a trip to walk by a restaurat sometimes and watch how many people mindlessly put food in their bodies.  Since the 1950's obesity has tripled and diabetes has increased 7 fold.  We used to eat 20 tsp of sugar per year per individual and most of it was from fruit.  Now, we eat 150 lbs per individual per year (well, most of us says the statistics).  I find this hard to believe but the data from well known sources says it is true. Wow! 

 

All day long, I coach patients on how to live a healthy lifestyle.  Eat clean, lean proteins and organic plants that grow above the ground with a piee of fruit or two and you are really set for the day!  I love the HCG Diet as it teaches patients how great they can feel while eating organic, whole foods.  Most never want to go back to their old ways and if I can make an impact on how someone eats then I have made an impact on their well-being in a grand scale.

 

 

HERE IS AN INTERESTING QUESTION I OFTEN ASK MY PATIENTS:
YOU ARE CAPABLE OF EATING THE MOST HEALTHY FOOD AVAILABLE ON THE PLANET ...SO, WHAT IS GETTING IN THE WAY?
 
FRUCTOSE IN THE FORM OF HFCS IS A TOXIN
When it comes to High fructose corn syrup I urge people to stay as far away from it as you can. Honestly, with a little effort it is really very easy to do.  HFCS is a lab made product that causes obesity, heart disease, highcholesterol, alzheimers, leaky gut, etc.  This stuff is a poison.  Of course ... the mainstream media will not let this be known as they prefer to call it "corn sugar" and to make it sound just like any other sugar out there.  Not true.  It is made with a chemical process and it even contains mercury.  This horrible stuff is found in low quality foods or "food like products" (lets admit it ... most low quality food is not really food anyway.)
 
Eat a Healthy Diet and It Can Change Your Life
 
I recommend eating high quality, organic, sustaiable raised meat and fish as well as above ground vegetables as the main stay of our diets.  Munch on cucumbers and celery sticks for snacks and keep fruit to one or two pieces per day.  Go for a gallon of water per day.  Do this and your body will thank you.  This is the way in which we encourage our HCG Diet patients to eat 90% of the time.  Try it!  Challenge yourself.  It is super rewarding!
