Green Tea as an Adjunct to the HCG Diet or Every Diet

 

Green Tea is a wonderful addition to any diet.  It also offers a lot of protection when consumed with a healthy diet rich in green foods to many complaints that affect our nation such as cardiovascular disease, cancer and Alzheimer's.  Packed into green tea leaves are very powerful phyto chemicals and anti-oxidants. 
 

Green Tea and its Cancer Fighting Potential

 
The specific catechin in green tea known as (EGCG) epigallocatechin gallate has been shown to fight cancer in many ways.  EGCG has been shown to fight cancer from it's start known as induction to slowing its progression and even limiting metastatsis.  Cultural studies show that in places where Green tea consumption is highest cancer rates are much lower. 
 

Health Benefits of Green Tea for Weight Loss

 

Green tea has shown to help with weight loss. In cell cultures and animal studies, EGCG and other catechins have been shown to reduce the creation of fat cells.  Green tea is known to help with fat burning and thermogenesis.  Studies in humans have shown a reduction in body fat and body weight with regular consumption of green tea.
