Maximum Weight Loss while on the HCG Diet


Most patients want to lose the max amount of weight possible on the HCG Diet.  I advocate my patients to lose weight in a way that is safe and effective for our bodies. For most patients, this will be in between 1/2 to 3/4 of a lb per day.  In one round, I also prefer to see a max weight loss of 35 lbs. I feel this is an adequate amount to lose at once and then let the body stabilize there.  Once stabilization has taken place, we can take the next steps to lose a bit more. I have seen this be the most effective way to lose weight and keep it off.


Keep Portions in Check on the HCG Diet


One place that I see patients deviate from the program is with portion sizes. On the HCG Diet protocol, calories do not need to be counted if the portion sizes are followed.  This is very important.  It is very easy to add another couple ounces of protein or a cup of vegetable and although some people may get away with it, many others will stall and have slower weight loss. Behind the scenes, the HCG Diet along with Rx HCG is keeping blood sugar stable and allowing the body to burn fat stores for fuel.  This will only work if the program is followed as outlined.


Choosing a Medically Supervised HCG Diet Program


A medically supervised HCG Diet program will offer patients support throughout the whole process. At The Natural Path, we provide full support to our patients and they are welcome to text and email us anytime through their program. We also meet with patients each week or every other week if they prefer. I find this level of support and accountability very helpful to patients on the HCG Diet program.
