Get This HCG Diet Lunch Made for the Next Few Days!

I have actually made this delicious HCG Diet friendly recipe twice this week.  I find myself constantly working with phase 2 foods to see what kinds of dishes I can come up with. I often find that keeping it simple is best!  For this recipe, you can use any type of lean, organic ground meats that you like.  I chose lean, ground turkey this week!  This recipe is easy to fix and can make 4-5 lunches.  It can be enjoyed hot or cold.  In general, I would count this as a protein serving and add an additional cup of a phase 2 vegetable of your choice to it!

Preparing the HCG Diet Friendly TURKEY "TACO"

Gather one pound of lean ground turkey, lettuce leaves, and some fresh salsa or pico de gallo!
This is wildly simple!  Get out your frying pan and coat it with about 1/8 tsp coconut oil (this is fine on phase 2). Add a tbsp of water to the pan and heat it up.  Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.  Then, add in the lean, ground turkey and break it up into little "crumbles" of your favorite size.  I like to add in some coriander, cumin, salt and pepper as the meat is cooking.  Cook well about 8-10 minutes on medium heat while stirring and mix into the onions.

Divide the mixture into 4 or 5 servings ... each serving will count as a protein serving on the HCG Diet program (phase 2).  Place a desired amount of meat into the butter lettuce or romaine lettuce leaf and sprinkle on some clean, salsa or pico de gallo as desired.  Garnish with cilantro and finish with the squeeze of a lime. Enjoy!
