A Delicious HCG Diet Marinara Sauce Recipe

I love this recipe and I always make atleast four or five times the amount to have some on hand in the fridge. This HCG Diet friendly & approved tomato Marina sauce is delicious and super healthy! This is also a great recipe for anyone who is not on the HCG Diet.† It is absolutely decadent on chicken breast and browned ground beef wth onions.  Dress up your HCG Diet dinner with this fabulous recipe!  You will probably take it with you into the "rest of your life phase" or phase IV of the HCG Diet Protocol.

HCG Diet Marinara Sauce Ingredients:

4 large tomatoes (or more depends if you want to increase the serving);

1 cup organic, low sodium chicken or vegetable broth;

1 6-ounce can tomato paste (low sodium if available)

1 tablespoon dried basil or fresh chopped basil to taste

2 tablespoons minced onion

2 cloves of garlic crushed

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

Cayenne pepper to taste if you want a little spice

Pinch of marjoram

Directions for preparing this delicious HCG Diet friendly recipe

Puree tomatoes in a food processor for a smoother texture. Then, pour the pureed tomatoes in a saucepan and  add spices. Heat the pot on low and let the mixture slow cook for 30-45 minutes. Allow the liquid to reduce or add additional water to achieve desired consistency.  Place this on your HCG Diet dinner!  Any extra can be stored in a glass container in the fridge and used for later. 

 

Add this to chicken breast, ground beef, seafood or on top of miracle noodles.  Enjoy!
