Apples as Delicious Dessert on the HCG Diet

 

Apples are a wonderful food.  They are filled with fiber, vitamins, minerals, nutrients and they are even easy to carry around. Apples also offer a nice crunch and spcific sweetness that most people love.  It is really great that apples can be enjoyed on the HCG Phase of the Natural Path Portland, HCG Diet program.  Every now and again, it is important to treat yourself and apples can be a great base for a delicious HCG Diet friendly dessert recipe.  We do not have a microewave oven at our house but most people do these days.  These recipes can quickly be made in a microwave oven but if you would like to use the oven that works too.  It just might take a bit longer.

 

Cinnamon Sauce on Apples - HCG Diet Dessert

In a small bowl, mix 3 tbsp of fresh lemon juice, 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp of cinnamon and dash of nutmeg and heat in a small saucepan.  Cut an apple as desired and use the sauce to dip the apples in.

 

Vanilla Sauce on Apples - HCG Diet Dessert

 

In a small saucepan, mix 1 tbsp vanilla powder, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar, stevia to taste.

Cut the fresh apples as desired and use the sauce to dip your apples in.
