Raw Chocolate Bliss for that Special Valentine (HCG Diet Phase III friendly)

 

Well, it is that time of year where people say "I love you," with sugar and chocolate of so many different kinds.

I like to say "I love you," with raw chocolate full of superfoods and yumminess.

Tonight, my kids and I will put together little jars of "Bliss by the Spoonful" for my HCG Diet patients

who are on phase III of the HCG Diet program.  Of course, we will make some extra for our friends, neighbors and maybe even for us.

 

Creating the Bliss Mix (...again it works on  phase III HCG Diet)

 

In this recipe, there is a lot of room for creativity.  I have a 2.5 year old and a 5 year old and I love to make this recipe with them.  Everyone can come up with their own raw chocolate decocotion. 

 

To get started, get out a few mason jars and spoons.   Begin by pulling out all of the ingredients that you may want to use.

BLISS BASE

  • coconut oil
  • local honey
  • vanilla bean powder or seeds
  • Hot water

BLISS ADD INS:

  • Raw Cacao Powder (for sure)
  • Cinnamon
  • Hemp Seeds
  • Raw dessicated coconut
  • chopped nuts
  • Maca Powder
  • Vitamineral greens
  • goji berries
  • anything your heart desires ...

Begin my taking your jar and putting in a big spoonful of coconut oil.  Next, add in a spoonful of honey.  Sprinkle in some vanilla bean.  Then, add just enough hot water to help to liquify the coconut oil and assist with the honey blending in.  Mix well. This is your BASE.

 

To the BLISS BASE, you may begin adding inany of the add ons listed above.  Make sure you use atleast 1 spoonful of cacao powder (otherwise you will not have chocolate ... right?). 

 

BLISS BY THE SPOON, BLISS BALLS, BLISS BARS ... you decide.

 

Today, I added to my BLISS base about 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 2 tbsp. almond butter, 2 tsp hemp seeds, 1 tsp. coconut, 1 tbsp. chopped cashews & 1 tsp. vitamineral green. 

 

You can make your "Bliss by the spoon" liquidy or thick depending upon what you are in the mood for.  I love this recipe as there is just so much room for variation. If you make it a bit thicker, you can roll it into balls and put in fridge. If you choose to kep it liquidy you can place it on parchment paper on a cookie sheet and put in fridge and then cut into little chocolate bars. Play with the recipe, be creative and have lots of fun!
