Taking Time to Prepare for the HCG Diet is Important for a Positive Outcome

This day in age, I find that most of my HCG Diet patients are leading very busy lives.  Most are professionals with children and life does not provide a lot of time to rest and relax.  I find that my patients who prepare for the HCG Diet by planning and prepping meals and snacks in advance do a lot better overall and have an easier time following the HCG Diet Protocol.

Simple Ways to Prepare Ahead for the HCG Diet Menu

Take some time on a Sunday afternoon to go shopping. Fill your grocery basket with delicious phase II HCG Diet foods including lean ground turkey, organic chicken breasts, red and green bell peppers, cucumbers, celery, asparagus, broccoli, apples, etc.  When you get home, weight your chicken breast or any phase II meat or fish that you chose and weight them into 3.5 ounce servings.  Take a few of these and freeze them for a quick thaw for meals to come.

In general, I recommend patients to prepare for 3-4 days at a time.  This means you will spend time prepping twice per week.  Grill, broil or bake your meats as you desire.  You can also make a meat loaf and this could be used for a few different meals as well.  At the same time, you can grill, boil or steam your veggies and set them aside in 1-2 cup portions. Package your vegetable and a serving of meat or fish together in a container.   I also recommend cutting up fresh, raw red and green bell pepper, celery sticks, cucumber rounds and apple and placing them in small containers or bags that can be a grab and go snack.

If you follow these general guidelines you can  make enough food to last you for 3-4 days and you will not need to do any other prepping.

Getting Fancy with the HCG Diet

The HCG Diet does not have to be boring by any stretch of the imagination.  You can get an HCG Diet cookbook and make meals that are quite decadant.  There are sauces, salad dressings, marinades, etc that most of my patients report to be delicious on the program.  You can eat simple or get pretty fancy.  That is up to you.

Enjoy!
